How Do I Upload My Video to YouTube?
Your YouTube account is ready, and it's time to upload your progress videos or student reviews. A few tips before we get started.
- Make sure your video is easy to hear and see (clear sound and simple framing is perfect).
- Keep it relaxed! You are sharing your journey, not trying to be perfect.
- Celebrate your progress! Every video is a step forward.
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to get your video online:
✅ Step 1: Sign In to YouTube
- Go to YouTube.com.
- Click Sign In at the top right corner if you are not already signed in.
✅ Step 2: Click the Upload Button
- Look for the camera icon with a "+" at the top right corner.
- Click it and select Upload Video.
✅ Step 3: Select Your Video File
- Click Select Files or drag your video file into the upload window.
- Choose the video you recorded for your student review or progress update.
✅ Step 4: Add Your Video Details
Title: Keep it simple!
Example: "30-Day Piano Progress – Alex S." or "Student Review – Emily’s Guitar Journey."
- Description: You can add a short note like "This video is for my Musora Student Review!" (optional).
✅ Step 5: Choose Your Privacy Setting
- We recommend setting your video to Unlisted.
- Unlisted means only people with the link (like your Musora Mentor, friends or family) can see it.
- It will not show up publicly on your YouTube channel or search results.
✅ Step 6: Publish and Copy the Link
- Click Publish.
- You will see a link to your video. Copy this link!
- You can now paste this link into your Student Review submission, Student Progress Thread, or Community Collab post or submission.
