How Do I Create a YouTube Account?

Sharing your progress and getting feedback is a huge part of growing as a musician! If you want to upload a Student Review video, post in your Student Progress thread, or join a Community Collab, a YouTube account is the simplest way to share your video!.

Here’s a simple way to get started:

✅ Step 1: Go to YouTube

• Open your browser and go to YouTube.com.
• Click Sign In at the top right corner.

✅ Step 2: Sign In or Create a Google Account

• If you already have a Google account (like Gmail), sign in with it.
• If not, click Create Account and follow the easy on-screen steps.

🎯 Tip: If you are creating an account just for student videos, you can keep it simple by using your first name, your Musora username or a music-related username.

✅ Step 3: Create Your YouTube Channel

• Once you are signed in, click on your profile picture (top right).
• Click Create a Channel.
• Choose your name (it can be your real name or something like "Sarah’s Piano Journey" or "Alex Guitar Progress").

You’re now ready to upload videos!
