What is Musora Private Access?

Private Access is a premium accountability program that combines weekly group video calls and ongoing mentor support through Discord. It’s designed to keep you accountable, motivated, and moving forward with a clear plan tailored to your musical goals.

How is this different from my regular membership?

Your regular membership gives you full access to courses, lessons, and community features. Private Access takes it up a notch and adds accountability for you to accomplish your musical goals in a group setting. Whether you're learning songs, improving technique, building a consistent practice routine, preparing for performance, or gaining confidence with improvisation and creativity, our mentors team will help guide your group help as you move forward together.

Who will my mentor be?

You’ll be matched with a Musora Mentor based on your instrument. Our Mentors team are gifted musicians ready to support you on your musical journey.

How do I book my Private Access Session(s)?

Booking your sessions is simple. You’ll use our scheduling system to pick a time from the available slots that works best for you. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation with the call details. To make it even easier, we’ve created a short video that shows you exactly how the booking process works step by step.

What happens during the weekly video calls?

Each call is 60 minutes and focused entirely on you. You’ll:

  • Check-in and share a short progress update
  • Support and encourage other community members
  • Set goals for your next practice week
  • In session practice for your instrument for 20-30 minutes

Do I have to use Discord?

Discord is highly recommended because it gives you direct access to our Mentors team for quick questions, encouragement, and feedback between calls. It also lets you connect with other Private Access students for support and motivation!

How does this help me stay accountable?

Weekly accountability check-ins and community support, you’ll always know what to focus on and have a community to encourage and guide you when motivation dips.

What kind of goals can I work on?

You can work on any goals that matter to you! Whether it is learning songs, improving technique, building a consistent practice routine, preparing for performance, or gaining confidence with improvisation and creativity. Our Mentors team is here to help you stay on track.

What if I need to reschedule or miss a call?

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, you can choose a new time slot. While you may not be able to make-up a missed check-in, our Mentors team will still support you through Discord and your practice plan.

How much does it cost, and is there a minimum commitment?

For our Beta program running from Sept. 8 - Nov. 17, 2025, Private Access is at no cost to our community. There’s no long-term contract, you can cancel anytime. You’re free to adjust as needed.

What do I need to get started?

You’ll need:

  • A device with a camera/microphone (laptop, tablet, or phone), and a stable internet connection.
  • Your instrument for your practice time

Everything else, calls, practice planning, and community support, are provided by our Mentors team!
