How Do I Upload a Video in the Forums?

Sharing your progress videos is a powerful way to stay motivated, get feedback, and celebrate how far you’ve come in your musical journey! Here’s how to upload a video in the forums or your Student Progress Thread.

✅ Step 1: Upload Your Video to YouTube

If you haven’t uploaded your video yet, follow these steps:

1. Go to YouTube.com and sign in.
2. Click the camera icon at the top right and select Upload Video.
3. Choose your video file.
4. Title it something like: “Week 1 Progress – Sarah (Piano)”.
5. Set the privacy to Unlisted so only people with the link can view it.
6. Click Publish and copy the video link.

✅ Step 2: Go to Your Progress Thread

1. Head to your Student Progress Thread (Pianote, Drumeo, Singeo, or Guitareo).
2. Open the thread where you’ve been posting your updates.

✅ Step 3: Add a New Comment or Post

1. Paste your YouTube video link into the text box.

   Write a short description of what you’re working on or what the video shows.

   • Example: “Here’s my Week 3 video working on chord transitions and timing!”

2. Hit Post (or Comment).
