Your Guide to Playlists

Playlists are your go-to tool for organizing lessons, songs, and assignments. Whether you’re curating a focused practice routine or saving your all-time faves, this guide will help you get the most out of your playlist experience! Below are some commonly asked questions about our playlist functions!

📦 How Many Items Can I Save In A Playlist?

You can save up to 300 items in each playlist—plenty of space for all your essential content.

🧹 How Can I Organize, Sort, Or Reorder My Playlist?

Above the list of all your playlists is a button that signifies how we are organizing your playlists. By default, they are organized by Recently Played. However, upon clicking it, you are given more options to sort by:

    • Recently Played
    • Recently Added
    • Recent Activity
    • A-Z
    • Z-A

đź”— Can I Share My Playlist With Others?

Yes! Just copy the playlist link in the search bar above and share it with other Musora members to inspire and connect. (In order for other Musora members to access it, the profile must first be set to "Public")

đź‘€ Can I See Who I Shared My Playlist With Or Unshare It?

Upon creating a playlist, you can adjust your playlist's visibility at the bottom of the "Create a Playlist" window.

If set to "Public", anyone looking at your Musora Profile will be able to view and open your playlist––however they will have no editing privileges.

If set to "Private", you will be the only one able to see your playlist.

This edit window can still be accessed after creation. Simply open the playlist you wish to edit, click the three dots beside the title, and select "Edit".

🧑‍🎤 Will Others Know Who Created The Playlist?

Your username will appear either below the playlist title (if being viewed from within the playlist) or beside the playlist descriptors (if being viewed from the playlist tab). No matter how many times it's shared, your name will always be listed as the playlist's original creator.

đź—‘ Can I Delete A Playlist?

Yes! Click the three dots beside the playlist you want to delete and, in the dropdown menu, click "Delete".

NOTE: Once you delete a playlist, you will lose it forever––this action is permanent and not undoable. You will be given a warning before deleting.

đź’ˇCan Other Members Add Or Suggest Content For My Playlist?

Nope! Your playlist is your personal space. Only you can edit or update it.

🎼 Can I Create Playlists Based On Genre Or Content Type?

Absolutely! In the Edit Playlist Window, you can choose what category to place this playlist in. You may choose from:

    • General
    • Technique
    • Songs

🎒 What Can I Add To My Playlist?

You can add a variety of content to suit your musical journey:

  • Songs, lessons, and assignments
  • Individual lessons from the Method curriculum (just not the entire Method path at once)
  • Video snippets using custom start and end times (note: titles can’t be changed)
  • Lessons that include PDFs or MP3s, which gives you access to those resources right within your playlist

While you can’t upload standalone PDFs or MP3s directly, adding lessons with those materials keeps everything organized and easy to access.

đź–Ľ Can I Personalize My Playlist?

Yes! You can:

  • Add a custom thumbnail
  • Give your playlist a unique name
  • Add a description to explain the theme or purpose

🔀 Can I Add Content From Other Musora Brands Into One Playlist?

Not at this time. Playlists are brand-specific, so content from Drumeo, Pianote, Guitareo, and Singeo stays in its respective space.

🎬 How Do I Start Using Playlists?

Click the “Add to Playlist” button on any lesson or song. You can create a new playlist or add it to an existing one, it's that simple!
